It's hard to believe, but I've been with WDFN since Day 1. I started out doing updates for Ike "The Mega Mega Sports Man" Griffin. After about a year, I started doing the midday show with Gregg Henson. We shifted to mornings in 1999 before 3G left DFN in 2002. After that, Greg Brady took over and we worked together along with Matt Shepard until November of 2007.
The best part of working at WDFN is talking sports with all of our great, loyal listeners. The second best part is getting the opportunity to go to amazing events like the Super Bowl, the World Series, the Stanley Cup Finals, the NBA Finals and the Final Four. We truly are very fortunate to do what we do.
I was born in the San Francisco Bay Area and graduated from Northwestern in 1993. I got my start in radio at the Illinois Radio Network in Chicago.
I live in Troy with my wife, Channel 7 News Anchor Christy McDonald, and our two kids Caroline and Josh.

Rick Reilly gets a lot of grief on some of the blogs. But he still is one of the very best sportswriters out there. Great take from him in this weeks ESPN Magazine on the plight of FORMER Lion Caleb Campbell.
The most overrated position in sports...

Pretty catchy headline, eh?
I stole it completely from ESPN.com this morning, and found it very timely given the current Tiger woes. Clearly, the Tigers can't find a closer, any closer. But do they really need one guy to hold that "title".
